Approach

Gretchen’s therapeutic style is warm, humorous, insight-oriented, and collaborative. She strives to create a space where clients feel seen, safe, and empowered—and where their own inner strength and beauty are reflected back to them. Gretchen believes that while we are often hurt in relationships, we also heal in relationships. She views the therapeutic relationship as a safe and supportive place where clients can develop new ways of relating to themselves and others, then carry those experiences into their lives outside the therapy room.

Gretchen was drawn to becoming a therapist because she feels she was born to do this work. She considers it an honor to hold space for another person’s healing and feels humbled to be invited into that process. Authenticity, meaningful connection, and nervous system regulation are central to both her work and her approach to healing.

Outside of the therapy room, Gretchen enjoys creating art, gardening, spending time with her loved ones, and being with her dog, Charlie.

Gretchen offers both in-person and telehealth appointments.
